Cotswold based Little Soap Company was started several years ago by Emma Heathcote-James. Starting life as an insatiable one-woman band, Little Soap Company has been passionate about reducing the amount of chemicals and synthetics people unwittingly rub into their skin since day one. Launching on a small scale in Waitrose in 2010, then nationally in 2013, their products then rolled out into other major national supermarkets including Sainsbury's and Boots the Chemist in 2014.

Imaginate were asked to re-design the Little Soap Company website to make the user experience more straight-forward and enjoyable for a variety of different types of shoppers, as well as bringing the site bang up to date in terms of look and feel. As part of the site build we integrated the woocommerce shop with their Amazon Marketplace to ensure products were synchronized.

The look of the new site revolves largely around the stunning new photography by our in-house photographer Simon Derviller. We stripped back the busy, rustic look of the original site to a much more clean, contemporary feel, which uses white space for maximum effect. The 'natural' feel is subtly achieved via a simple, understated colour palette and design features such as 'soap' inspired buttons and roughened edges. The site is completed by beautifully simple product photography, allowing the products to speak for themselves.
